Synopsis

Based on the blockbuster films, this action-packed animated series starts a decade after the original Ghostbusters saved New York City from ghosts, goblins and ghouls. All the guys have left town, except Egon, now teaching a Paranormal Studies class at the local university. But Zuul, the all-powerful demon, has awakened from hibernation to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting masses. Desperate to recruit a new team, Egon and the plucky Janine turn to four of his teenage students: Kylie, a genius with an encyclopedic knowledge of the occult; Eduardo, a hip slacker with a crush on Kylie; Garrett, a wheelchair-bound athlete with a hot temper; and Roland, a “gentle giant” mechanical whiz. It's only a matter of time before Egon, Janine, old pal Slimer and the “kids” band together to rid the city of the evildoers.

GenerationofSwine

You see the reason why woke movies are bad and only the mentally ill low IQ inbred mouth breathers of the world actually like them, is because they make a list of boxes to check, and then check the boxes, and totally forget about things like plot, story, good dialogue, characters, character development... you know, the things that people actually want to see.... all in an effort to push a political narrative on the viewers and pat themselves on the back for out doing Goebbels. But that was happening before everything had to be political, it all existed before woke was a thing and back in the 90s, it was there too, we just called it crap marketing. It was made in the same way the modern crap is, a bunch of idiots with college degrees and no talent or know how for story telling sat in a room, made a list of boxes to check that would make the show "totally 90s" and then made the show about the checked boxes and totally forget about things like plot, story, good dialogue, characters, character development... you know, the things that people actually want to see. Only back then they weren't doing it for political indoctrination, they were doing it for good old fashioned money. But don't let that fool you, just because the motivation was different doesn't mean it sucks any less.
